Chateau Mille Roses Margaux Sophie et David Faure
HK$ 240
60% Cabernet Sauvignon – 40% Merlot
Château Mille Roses was born in 1999 after the young owner inherited the Château and the vineyard land from his parents who died prematurely.
Due to bad weather, the 2013 harvest was minimal with only 15,000 bottles produced. Yet Mille Roses was able to make the most of this thankless vintage, thanks to their organic production method which allowed them to reach sufficient maturity quite early and to the very selective sorting of the manual harvest to keep only the best.
At the tasting, the robe is garnet, the wine brilliant. On the nose, notes of marshmallow, toast and vegetal. The woodiness dominates in the mouth with aromas of caramel and vanilla.
