Paul Jaboulet Aine Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage

Noble and complex Crozes Hermitage whose pedigree, structure, and cellar potential align it closer to true Hermitage. Jaboulet is currently helmed by Caroline Frey, a leading female winemaker and proponent of organic and biodynamic practices. The “Domaine de Roure” is sourced from old vines in the granite slopes of Le Blanc (3.5 ha). Matured for one year in French oak (20% new). Decanting required on this richly endowed bottle that displays cracked black pepper, olive tapenade, and roasted game notes atop a mineral spine of crushed granite.
