The authentic soul of Chianti Classico Lamole di Lamole can look back on more than 500 years of history, and since the 15th century it has been the cellar of the most important local fortresses. More recently, the area has risen to prominence thanks to the two Sangiovese clones native to Lamole responsible for the wines’ distinct territorial character . Lamole di Lamole’s uniqueness lies in the fact that the vineyards are located in one of the highest parts of Chianti Classico, which enables them to bring the grapes to optimal ripeness while imbuing their aromatic potential with special elegance, richness and persistence.
