Round Hill was established in the early 1970s by the Van Asperen family. In 2000, the Zaninovich family, early partners with the Van Asperens, added Round Hill to their family of wines. Three generations of agriculturists and winegrowers, the Zaninovich family is committed to sustainable farming practices and ranks as one of California’s leading sustainable and organic producers. Round Hill wines are primarily sourced from family owned vineyards in California’s Central Valley and North and Central Coasts. To ensure consistent quality and diversity, the family sources additional fruits from family growers in Napa Valley, Monterey and Paso Robles whom long-term relationships have been established.
Sustainability goes beyond the vineyard. Round Hill partners with companies equally committed to earth-friendly practices, like natural cork closures and the producers of Eco-Series glass, to ensure that manufacturing and processes have minimal environmental impact.
