In 2012, José started his own project, Vaglio Wines. In this project, his winemaking approach embodies the will of his generation: winemakers that take the heritage of their parents to the next step and dig further into Argentina’s terroirs. In March 2016, Tim Atkin wrote: “José Lovaglio Balbo’s winery is definitely a name to keep an eye on in Mendoza.” (Argentina 2016 Special Report).
