Junmai

“Junmai” can be translated as “pure rice.” This is sake that does not contain added brewer's alcohol; the only ingredients are water, rice, koji and yeast. Unlike other sake categories, junmai has no set rice polishing ratio, so it can be richer and bolder than other sake types.
