The wine
The Oenothèque represents the family’s personal collection, in which exceptional vintages are carefully preserved in the 18th century cellars and wine cellars located in Reims. By revealing these treasures, Drappier transmits the memory of the House.
Assembly
Pinot noir (70%) revealing tasty aromas of characteristic red fruits.
Chardonnay (30%) conferring elegance and freshness.
Winemaking and aging
Exclusive use of first press juices. No pumping and vats by gravity. Natural decantation. Racking and immediate malolactic fermentation. Aged for more than 17 years on lees.
The dosage of this 2004 vintage champagne is 4g/L (liqueur aged in oak barrels for 25 years).

Dress
A beautiful straw yellow shade, the dress is adorned with subtle orange highlights.
Nose
The nose reveals a beautiful aromatic structure through fruity (yellow fruits, peach, nectarine) and spicy fragrances.
Palate
Complex, the palate combines aromas of orange peel, spices and toasted notes. With its low dosage (4g/L), the palate seduces with its light and persistent finish.

Since 1808, when François, an ancestor of Michel Drappier, settled in Urville the estate has been in the hands of our family. Today, patriarch André Drappier is still present every day, while the eighth generation, represented by Charline, Hugo and Antoine, have joined the house which remains proud of its independence. The Drappier House is part of an overall zero carbon footprint approach since 2017, through various actions: photovoltaic cellar, electric vehicles, sustainable packaging.
