Domaine Fourrier, Clos St Jacques, Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru Vieille Vigne

Fourrier’s 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with scents of dark berries, cherries, black truffles, forest floor and peonies, framed by a discreet touch of new wood. Medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, it’s deep and succulent, with fine concentration, exquisitely refined tannins and a long, sapid finish.
