Francois Carillon, Puligny-Montrachet AOP
HK$ 630
The Domaine, created in 2010 (the family estate was split that year between François and his brother Jacques) is the legacy of a wine family business that dates back to the 16th century in Puligny-Montrachet. François now owns and manages 16 ha in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, producing 17 appellations, mainly in Chardonnay.
Between passion and precision, the ambition of François Carillon is to produce fine, elegant and gourmet wines, representative of the exceptional terroirs from which they come.
This wine comes from four hectares of vines, spread over 8 different localities: Derrière la Velle, Reuchaux, Corvée, Levrons, Aubues, Tremblots, Noyer Bret and Rousselles. This linear wine is composed of a beautiful acidity which underlines and prolongs aromas of white peach with a long citrus finish.
Age of vines: 19 to 49 years old
Soils: Clays and limestones
