The sandy soil with small stones provides perfect drainage and deep roots for the vines. It is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. The result is a grandiose wine that combines strength and finesse. Its shimmering aspect gives way to a very subtle nose with daunting complexity. Cayas is not exuberant; on the contrary, this blend of plots vinified by the Jean-René Germanier domaine exudes finesse with its aromas of mint, flowers, raspberries and pepper. On the palate the terroir is translated by an ultra-satinated sensation, a mid-bodied structure and a fresh finish with tannins of rare finesse. One of the greatest Syrah / Shiraz ever!
