Jean Rene Germanier, Petite Arvine, Valais AOC 2021
HK$ 380
“A lush palate, intense and concentrated (…) a stunning and attractive wine with opulent and elegant material” R. Parker
Here is a varietal that is the pride of Switzerland, the Petite Arvine, a true delicacy, a wonder with salinity and length. The Jean-René Germanier domain works with care and elegance, enhancing the clay and shale terroir. The vinification and ageing takes place in vats on lees; in order to preserve the tone of the juices malolactic fermentation is not carried out. The nose exhales notes of citrus (grapefruit, lime) with great purity in a bewitching floral bouquet. It is dynamic, evolving on the palate with a lot of tension and direction on a high-flying saline frame highlighting a juicy fruit for a brilliant finish with good length.
Food pairing: Fish, Shellfish, White meat, Poultry, Worldwide Dishes, Fruit desserts
