Le Clos Galerne Savennieres Blanc AOP 2022

Clos de Galerne – AOC Savennieres – White – 2022
These almost century-old Chenin Blanc vines are cultivated using organic farming methods. The 2-hectare plot has draining soils of wind-blown sand with schist. The aging lasts 11 months in barrels. The color is pale yellow, the nose is slightly marked by the barrel, an empyreumatic universe is revealed afterwards with a nice flint side. On the palate, a magnificent minerality takes hold of the taste buds, all on a creamy frame filled with notes of slightly candied citrus fruits.
