Handpicked harvest. Traditional fermentation in 30% new oak barrels. Then maturation during 12-13 months in cellar for ageing.
Color: Canary yellow in color leaning towards bronze as it ages. Limpid and brilliant, it exhibits silvery highlights.
Nose: Strong aromas of ripe grapes. Toasted almonds and hazelnuts in a floral (mayflower, lime, verbena) and mineral (flint) setting. Butter, honey, and citrus fruits are also present.
Palate: Rich and fat with a cheerful and appealing taste of hazelnut. Unctuousness and freshness are in silky balance. Long and structured.
Food Pairing: Fish or meat, veal or poultry in white sauce, lobster, crawfish, or king prawns in sauce, blue cheeses and goose liver.
