Color: Glittering gold.
Nose: Aromas of mayflower, acacia, and honeysuckle blend with verbena, hazelnut, toast or fresh butter and profound minerality (flint). Age brings in notes of honey or ripe pear.
Palate: Rounded and often opulent. Fleshiness and mellowness are equally persistent on the palate.
Food Pairing: Delicate fine white meats such as poultry or veal in sauce. Fish, salmon, crawfish, lobster, or even cooked fattened goose liver (foie gras) also pares well.
