Roux Pere & Fils Chassagne Montrachet blanc Les Chaumes

Created in 1855, this Burgundian domaine which combines property and trading is currently managed by the fourth generation. Sébastien and Matthieu Roux carry on the family tradition and manage 65 hectares of the vineyard spread over 13 villages of the Côte d’Or, Côtes de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. The Roux family played a big role in the recognition of Saint-Aubin and the worldwide fame of this appellation owes it a lot!

The Chassagne Montrachet shows aromas of mayflower, acacia, and honeysuckle blend with verbena and hazelnut and in some cases toast or fresh butter. This wine boasts a profound minerality (flint). Age brings in notes of honey or ripe pear.
