Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant and black olive aromas marry into elements of cigar box with subtle tobacco, earth and spicy dried herbs also present. Medium to full bodied, this superb blend manages to merge richness with poise, elegance and structure. Generous blackcurrant fruit melds into subtle liquorice, cigar box, scorched earth, black olive and spicy dried herb nuances. Providing the framework are slightly dryish, firmly built tannins and finely tuned acidity. Excellent length and power concluding gracefully with a long blackcurrant, spicy mulberry, cedary tobacco, scorched earth, black olive and dried herb aftertaste.
