100 % Syrah. 30 years old vines grafted on field.
Terraces of rounded pebbles. Full south exposure situated on the hillside of Méal.
Grapes are destemmed. Maceration in concrete vats (for a better thermic inertia) for about 4 weeks (depending on the vintage). Extraction made by pumping over and punching down.
The barrel ageing lasts about 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage (30 to 50% in new oak).
Colour: very intense ruby colour.
Nose: small black fruit, delicate leather note.
Palate: powerful wine with well integrated tannins and oak. Full-bodied wine to be aged.
