Josmeyer Riesling Grand Cru Hengst Samain

Age of vines: 40 years. Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed very slowly and gently in pneumatic presses over 5-8 hours. Transferred to thermo-regulated stainless steel to begin a natural fermentation using only its own natural yeast for one month.

Color: Bright golden color
Nose: Fine aroma that is intensely bright lime fruited and just starting to show some tertiary mineral quality
Palate: Intense lime purity. Rich, mostly dry but with a richer texture. Just a hint of honey but still so young. Power and finesse
