Paul Jaboulet Aine, “Parallele 45”, White, Cotes du Rhone AOP 2022

This wine takes its name from the 45th North parallel which runs two kilometres from our cellars. A monument symbolises this line with an inscription: “The South begins here”. This cuvée exists since the 1950s.

Tasting Notes:
Pale color. Elegant and intense aromas of white flowers and apricots. Round and beautifully well-balanced on the palate with a fruity finish, leaving us with subtle and mineral notes.

Food Pairing:
Seafood platters, steamed crab and fish, shrimps, sashimi and sushi.

Vinification and Maturing:
Age of the Vines: 25 years; Hand-picked and directly whole-bunch pressed. Fermented at low temperature for 2 weeks to keep varietal aromas in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Aged for 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
