Paul Jaboulet Mule Noire Crozes Hermitage AOP 2020

From the young vines planted at the Thalabert site, the older vines of which go into the Domaine Thalabert Crozes-Hermitage. Dark and black in the glass, hinting at the deep and brooding nature of the aromas. Bramble, black cherry and blueberry jam flavours are underpinned by dark chocolate powder and cocoa nibs. The fruit is laced with graphite and a spicy richness, finishing with a slatey touch. It’s intense but comforting and a match for blustery days and log fires.
