Handpicked harvest. Traditional fermentation on fine lees in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks for 14 months.
Color: Crimson or dark ruby.
Nose: Boast aromas of cherry, liquorice, and sometimes violet.
Palate: Firm, straightforward taste, tannins pleasant once matured, neither too stiff with tannins nor too fleshy, attractive balance, and just the right amount of body.
Food Pairing: Goes well with such meats as rabbit, lamb or duck, mature cheeses like Morbier and Soumaintrain.
