Schloss Gobelsburg tradition 10 years

Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the oldest wineries in the Austrian Danube area with a documented history that dates back to 1171. This 10 Year Old is just beginning to open up after a 18 month maturation in barrel. The peach and herbal aromas are still restrained, but on the palate there is great textural complexity. An elegant finish that is both long and subtle. A ripe and tropical blend of 80% Grüner Vetliner and 20% Riesling. A homage to the stylistic expression of the great Danube wines, this cuvée blends across multiple vintages (85% 2010, 10% 2009, 5% 1996-2008) to achieve exquisite balance.
