Domaine Lignier-Michelot, Cuvée Bertin, Gevrey-Chambertin AOP

Domaine Lignier-Michelot is a Burgundy producer based in the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation. Pinot Noir is the mainstay variety and the domaine counts some highly regarded premier cru and grand cru vineyards among its holdings.
Named after Virgile’s son, this blends the lower vineyard of Murots with Les Seuvrées, which is on the border with Morey. All whole-bunch, this is a very deep and compact wine, driven by dark fruit and a note of cherry compôte this year. Drink 2021-2026.
