Dr. Wehrheim, Spatburgunder 2022

Dr. Wehrheim is a family-owned winery, now led by the 4th generation. It is located in the old-world region of Pfalz, South-West of Germany, close to the French border. Dr. Wehrheim vineyards are cultivated according to the guidelines of biodynamic viticulture. The owner and winemaker Franz Wehrheim is a Board member at Respekt-BIODYN – a leading biodynamic organization.

The Pinot Noir went through fermentation in steel vats and maturation in barriques for 12 months.

Color: Bright ruby red.
Nose: Very elegant nose with fresh red berries supported by a hint of barrique flavours.
Palate: On the palate the wine shows soft tannins, a well-integrated acidity and a long finish.
