Josmeyer Gewurztraminer Les Folastries
Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed very slowly and gently in pneumatic presses over 5-8 hours. Transferred to thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks to begin a fermentation using only its own natural yeast. Maturing on fine lies from 4 to 8 months in old centenary casks.
Color: Golden-tinged yellow color.
Nose: Vibrant aromas of lemon, flowers and sweet spices.
Palate: Lychee and spice, mild with notes of honeysuckle and deep minerality.
Food pairing: Duck, Goose and Game Birds.
