Vaglio Wines ‘MiPeral’ Finca El Peral Malbec 2019

Vaglio MiPeral represents a very special phase in my winemaking journey. This wine is the result of an exploration of vineyards in the district of El Peral, in Valle de Uco. This vineyards is only 0,75 acres (0,3 ha) so the quantities for this project will always be very small. This Malbec stands out for its character and intensity of color as well as its aromas and flavors. Perfumed and vivid, it shows dark fruits like cassis and aromatic spices with some mineral notes. Well-structured, with silky tannins.

Aging: 40% in new French oak barrels for 11 months.
Pre-fermentation maceration with dry ice in barrels. Open-barrel fermentation in new, French oak barrels. Mild punch downs two times per day.

Elevation: 1,100 m.a.s.l. (3,600 ft.) average
